Walnuts and Cinnamon Protein Bar

It's Autumn! Time for a sweet treat with walnuts and... a warm cup of tea. Enjoy the rich nutty and cinnamon flavor. Simple, protein-packed, vegan goodness.

Ingredients

(for 6 pieces)
100g Medjool dates pitted
1 Tbsp (20g) sesame tahini
1 Tbsp (15ml) coconut nectar
50g walnuts
50g almonds
1 Tbsp hemp protein
1 tsp carob powder
pinch of cinnamon
extra walnuts for decoration

 

Walnuts and Cinnamon Protein Bar

Steps

  1. Ground Walnuts and almonds into small pieces.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a blender and blend to obtain a sticky mixture.
  3. Transfer the mixture to not-sticky surface and press down to form an even layer.
  4. Chill for 5-10 minutes before cutting into 6 bars.
  5. Decorate with large pieces walnuts.
